Bill of Materials (BOM)
The Bill of Materials should include:
Component Details: List every single component required for your project, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, etc.
Part Numbers: Provide the specific part numbers for each component to ensure we source the exact items needed.
Descriptions: Include a brief description of each component for clarity.
Quantities: Specify the quantity of each component required for the entire batch/order.
Manufacturer Information: If possible, include the preferred manufacturer or supplier for each component.
Gerber Data
Your Gerber data should include:
PCB Specifications: Detail the specifications of the PCB, including size, layers, material, and any special requirements.
Complete Layout: The entire PCB layout file showing the arrangement of all components.
Schematic Diagrams: Detailed schematics that provide a clear understanding of the circuit design and connections.
Stencil Cutouts: Information for the stencil cutouts to ensure accurate solder paste application on the PCB.
Drill Files: Include the drill files that specify the locations and sizes of all holes and vias.
Silkscreen Layers: Provide the top and bottom silkscreen layers for component labels and other markings.
Assembly Drawings: Any additional assembly drawings that might assist in the production process.
Part Centroids
Part centroids should specify:
Component Centers: The exact center coordinates of every single component that needs to be placed on the PCB.
Reference Designators: Each centroid should be labeled with the corresponding reference designator from the BOM and schematic.
Orientation: Indicate the orientation of each component (e.g., the direction of pin 1 for ICs).
Additional Data: Any other relevant data that ensures precise and accurate component placement during the PCB assembly process.
